Worth knowing, if you're a student
Independent testing in 2026 found Turnitin's detection algorithms still flag QuillBot-paraphrased text as 53–64% similar to the original, even without access to a student's own submission history. Paraphrasing alone doesn't reliably solve what modern detection tools are built to catch — which is part of why our own Academic mode is built around helping you learn scholarly writing conventions, not around producing text meant to get past a detector.
