What you get
All ten modes on the dial
Legal, Medical, Academic and Creative arrive exactly as they do in the extension — the same terminology calibration, in applications that have no writing tools of their own.
It lives in your tray
No window to manage. A small badge appears next to your selection and nothing else changes about how you work.
Your formatting survives
Dialogue stays dialogue, lists stay lists, quote style stays yours, and paragraph breaks come back the way you wrote them.
Spelling and grammar too
Checking is on the dial alongside the rewrite modes, with underlines over your text in applications that support them.
For long-form creative work
The Windows app reads Scrivener projects directly, so a scene can be rewritten with the rest of the manuscript in mind rather than in isolation. That context is something a browser extension cannot reach.
Creative mode keeps its five sub-genres here — science fiction, fantasy, horror, romance and literary — each calibrated separately rather than collapsing into one general setting.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- An ABCcount Teams account — sign in from the tray menu after installing
- Your plan decides which modes are available. Legal and Medical require ProMax or a Teams seat.
A Mac version isn't available yet. The Chrome extension works on macOS today.
